Khalilah performed during the meet and greet, while traditional Jamaican Cuisine was just finishing up, and all I can say about this young African/Jamaican Queen is she will be heard from in the near future. She has the youthfulness of a little girl but the knowledge of an elder.
Born in the U.S., but both parents hail from Jamaica. When asked what her inspiration is she responded “The Creator, and knowing the creator created me”. She sung in an acapella choir since elementary school. Her music is poignant, full of direction and focus.
She sings of gun violence and the pursuit of love/lost love. This young lady oozes positivity and shares her passion with brilliance through a soft powerful sultry voice. Largely a mix of grass roots/dance hall Reggae and bits of Whitney Houston shine through.
Thank You Khalilah! You are an inspiration to all young women!!

I had a blast hanging with this group, they were kind enough to share their energy and vibe with The Inspiration Hunter, and I really dig that! They played with a purpose and energy that is hard to find with musicians in today’s world. They really know what the people are thinking and they put it to music in a high energy, head nodding way that took you to another consciousness.

Nee Nee has been singing since she was 1-year-old, she is originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica.
Her music is her inspiration, all grassroots reggae. Lauren Hill is a big inspiration for her vocal style.
When asked about what inspires her to do what she does, the humble Nee Nee responded “I don’t have a story, I just want to sing.” Keep your eyes open for this group. Great blend of Reggae, Ska,funk/soul,R&B.
Great lady free flowing vocals and the band kicks it with the horn section!
Thanks Nee Nee!!

It’s been 40 years since the peace, love and music rose up out of a farm town in Bethel, NY. Today the vibe is still alive, when you travel to upstate New York. The people and the music still have an impact on todays youth and culture. Being a child of the 70’s I missed the boat to the original Woodstock Festival, but the Bearsville Theater(Woodstock,NY) brings back that image, feel and talent from that era to it’s stage.
With a new, but familar vibe! Of peace, love, and music. With just a pen, paper and a small camera we did our best to capture this beautiful evening/moment with some very talented people who just want everyone to feel that positive vibe of life. Thanks to my awesome wife Erin Hunter and our dear friend Jennifer Santiago we captured these talents in their element. Check it out…
The first artist to take the stage was a 63 years young musician who found his way to Woodstock and never left. Rob played an awesome version of Bob Marley’s classic “Redemption Song”, which got a huge ovation from the loving crowd. To top that off he came back with a killer version of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing”.
Oh Yeah! I forgot to mention Robert played those two songs with his CELLO!! He’s been playing the cello for over 50 years. Playing since he was the age of 7 and has been a resident of Woodstock for thirty years, where he is a member of the Woodstock String Quartet.
His family were all musicians and they inspired him to pick up the cello and add to the family passion for music. Robert said “I was told music is not a profession and that made me the black sheep of the family.” He was inspired by a Tim Harden song “Black Sheep Boy.” Robert gave me this quote and I also share this sentiment.
“If you do what you love the money will come.”- Robert Turner
