Wow!  What a weekend it was.  We spent the first day chilling with my in-laws and taking in the venue.  Later that day we noticed that there was a drum circle forming in the street at one of the local shops.

By the time we got there it was to late and I would have had to trek back to the house to grab my drum (djembe).

Check out what happened on day 2!  What an awesome opportunity, like Will Smith says ” If you stay ready you don’t have to get ready.” One word…Righteous!

I always wanted to interview this guy.  He is the co-founder of the Rosendale, NY Street festival.  Talk about a guy who had a vision over 30 years ago and now the event is one of, if not the largest FREE festival in the world. Over 70 bands in 2 days FREE.

What an awesome opportunity and privileged to formally meet Uncle Willy.  He may be a hippy, but look what he’ll leave as his legacy.  Oh yeah he’s a lady lover but not a BUSH fan.

Sorry for the audio, but I think you’ll get his energy.  Such a cool guy!
